XVision.EDGE
Machines interconnection , as simple as a database table
DOUBLE ADVANTAGE
For the MES system administrator
Forget the complexity of protocol management to exchange data with field equipment, send production orders and receive processing data on convenient SQL tables.
For the entrepreneur
Get Industry 4.0 tax benefits (where available) and improve business performance with a standard platform that focuses production data on a central database, integrates it with other sources and distributes information in real time via dashboards, web and email reports.
SUPER FAST COMMUNICATION
XVision.EDGE can simultaneously connect hundreds of data collection devices, PLCs, i/o remote cards and appliances equipped with communication protocol.
Communication is optimized for speed, by reading data blocks to maximize throughput, and by multithreading to parallelize data exchange with devices.
REMOTE MONITORING
The vital operating parameters of the Edge station can be monitored via web, through customized visualizations that display the network topology and the status of communication with individual equipment/machines.
There are also functions to help debug communication issues in complex networks.
ONE PLATFORM EDITOR, EASY TO CONFIGURE
The XVision.EDGE configuration is performed using the platform editor, common to all editions of the software.
The platform editor works seamlessly, that is, with the same modes and functions, on all the modules that make up the XVision suite. This allows a significant reduction in learning time and a faster realization of projects.
Scripting/SDK
If your application requires more special customizations, you can use Microsoft’s VB.NET scripts to build the necessary logics and interfaces.
Alternatively, the XVision Software Development Kit (SDK) is available, with which you can develop programs integrated with X Vision itself, in your preferred development environment.
VIRTUALIZATION
XVision.EDGE can run in redundant virtualized environments, thus ensuring business continuity in the event of a server crash and reducing data loss, eliminating the need to use dedicated physical machines.
Available as Physical Appliance on request
