It is possible to dynamically change the enabling / disabling status of a group controlling it with the value assumed by an item.
In this case the sampling group is enabled when the value of the Item (specified in the Enable Item field) is different from 0 (zero).

The item can be reversed. If the Invert field is selected, the group is enabled when the value of the item is 0 (zero).
The enabling condition introduced by the enabling item is in any case subordinated to the enabling of the group at the configuration level (Enabled checkbox):

    1. if the checkbox is enabled and deselected, the sampling of the group is always disabled, regardless of the value assumed by the enabling item.
    2. if the Enabled check box is selected, group sampling is enabled based on the value assumed by the enabling item (if specified).
