General information
The data recorded by the DataLogger sampler can be graphically represented by the Historical and Dynamic Trends: the trends receive the data of the sampling group linked to them.
The data displayed by the Dynamic Trends are made available by the sampler in the dynamic data buffer (which can be enabled for each sampling group): the buffer, whose depth is configurable, resides in memory and contains the last n data sampled by the DataLogger for the group
Historical Trends access data sampled on disk in internal format.
This chapter describes how to configure the DataLogger to be used as a data source for Historical and Dynamic Trends.
The same sampling group can be used as the source of both historical and dynamic data.
