X Vision can be configured to manage access privileges to the system (security management) using the "user-password-level area" model.

The developer (and later an authorized operator) may limit user operations based on areas of relevance and the permission level of the user.

The plant is divided into  logical and / or physical security areas. Each controllable object is associated with one or more security areas and to a security level: a user can issue command on a element on screen (i.e. a push button) only if  has the same security area  assigned tle element and has a security level greater or equal that of the same element.

In particular, the security system controls:

    1. data entry (text type animations)
    2. execution of actions or scripts associated with graphic objects, menus, keyboard events.
    3. the change in value of an Item by animation (e.g.. Spinner)
    4. operations relating to the management of alarms (acknowledgment, reset, beeper silencing, etc.)
