X View is started automatically by activating X-Start  (server / standalone mode) or ClientXStart (activation in client mode).


You can also start X View from the Windows start menu.

When activated the display shows the synoptic configured for boot (see par. "Configuring the display"). If the synoptic is not configured, the X View displays a blank screen.
