Substitutions function allows you to generalize expressions and animations of texts contained in the Synoptics, inserting generic placeholder instead of specific expressions: these placeholders are then replaced from time to time with expressions of interest. This allows the parameterization of similar pages, which differ only in the origin of the signals.

In the example below is shown the case of a system with three turbines equal. For each turbine are monitored output power, status, and an alarm. Rather than define three distinct synoptic, one for each turbine, you can create a single parameterized synoptic and define groups of parameters to be replaced. Each group of parameters takes the name of Substitution and is saved within the same synoptic.

Specifying, for the opening of the synoptic, the desired parameter set (Substitution), the page will show you the specific data of the corresponding turbine.
