Events recording
During execution, the system keeps in memory and allows to display in the synoptics the last 200 event signals generated by the database. By exceeding this number, the oldest events are removed by keeping the most recent ones.
However, the alarm / event manager allows you to record and store the messages generated, either by recording on disk or by printing on a continuous form printer.
Management and naming of historical files
Events are recorded on disk (default).
The messages are recorded in log files which can subsequently be consulted with the Event History application (History).
Each log file contains the messages relating to the solar day and is saved with the extension .LOG in the History folder in the current project directory.
The name of the archive files is generated from the registration date, according to the structure shown below:
D<date>.LOG
where:
|
<date> |
Indicates the date of the archive, with AAMMGG format. |
For example, the file named D080125.Log contains the logging of events that occurred on January 25, 2007.
Printing of events
The event printing function allows all event messages to be recorded on a paper printout when they arise.
For this purpose, a dot matrix printer is used, always active, connected via a parallel port.
In case of several stations on the network, the printer must necessarily be connected to the Server station.
