This chapter describes the contents of the X Vision system initialization files.

The initialization files (.INI) contain some of the configuration information of the X Vision modules and are saved at the root of the directory of each project, with the exception of the Local.ini file, which is located at the root of the installation directory. of X Vision.

The standard X Vision initialization files are listed below. Some of them could be created at the time of the first configuration.



Rtdb.ini

Contains the configuration of the allocation size of the Realtime database

Project.ini

Contains configuration information about the project

Start.ini

Contains the items that define the modules and applications to be activated at system startup.

Xview.ini

Contains the items for configuring the display module

Alarm.ini

Contains entries for configuring the system for alarm management.

History.ini

Contains the configuration information of the History module.

SchedCfg.ini

Contains the configuration information of the Scheduler configurator module.

RcpEdit.ini

Contains the configuration information of the Recipe configuration module.

Security.ini

Contains the general parameters of the security management system


Note: other X Vision system applications, such as drivers, can add other initialization files to the root of the project directory.


This chapter describes the sections and the items of each initialization file. Allowed values are indicated in italics next to the field; in case the value of the item has more predefined choices, the latter will be divided by the pipe (|) character.
