In addition to grid, you can align one or more objects to another object, called Reference object, as follows:


    1. Select the objects to align, by selecting the reference object last. If the selection is done by bounding box, the reference object is the last object in the rectangle.
    2. Select a tool alignment:

Align Left

Align objects to the left edge of the reference object.

Align Center Vertically

Align objects on the vertical axis of the object reference.

Align Right

Align objects to the right edge of the reference object.

Align Top

Align objects to the top edge of the reference object.

Align Center Horizontally

Align objects on the horizontal axis of the object reference. 

Align Bottom

Align objects to the top edge of the reference object.
