Using the Sampled Items tab you can add, edit and delete the items to be sampled for the group.

The items to be sampled for the group are displayed in a list that shows in the order:

    1. the Item name
    2. the Item type
    3. the field to be sampled

If you selected ODBC for recording the sampled data, the list also displays:

    1. the name of the database field on which to register the value of the item

Note: the display order of the items in the list also corresponds to the order in which the sampled values are recorded in the data file. The operator can at any time change the order using the arrow keys on the right of the list: this change however makes the group data file unusable as any data already recorded in the archive remains with the previous registration order.

Warning! however, there are some restrictions to be taken into consideration with regard to sampling on files in internal format (for the realization of historical trends) and the management of dynamic data (for the realization of dynamic trends):

    1. The module samples only the value of the Item even if the specified field is different.
    2. It is not possible to sample a Text item: for this type of item the system will always register the value 0.
