For historical files of Unlimited duration and Template you must specify the name of the sample recording file in the Template field.

The archive name can be a fixed text or it can be customized using command flags that allow to insert in the name the current year or month, etc.

Command flags consist of texts preceded by the% character.

The following flags can be used:

y%

Year two digits (e.g.. 00)

% Y

Year in four digits (e.g.. 2012)

% M

Month (01..12)

D%

Day (01..31)

% d

Day of the week (1 = Sunday, 2 = Monday, ..., 7 = Saturday)

% g

Julian Day (1..365)

% h

Hours (0..23)

% m

Minutes (0..59)

% s

Seconds (0..59)

% I <..>

Value of the item name specified between the <> characters. For example, if you specify% I <BATCHNAME>, the system will insert the value of the BATCHNAME Item in the file name. The <> characters must be entered.

% N

Name of the sampling group.

Note: the command flags inserted in the Template field can influence the file duration. In fact, if you have selected an unlimited file duration and specify in the Template field the% Y flag it is easy to understand that the system will still generate an annual file.
