Data file duration
The system allows to select the duration of historical files on disk, that is to limit the samples recorded in the file to a certain period.
In this way it is possible to divide the sampled data among several files, of smaller size and easier to manage.
The sampler generates a new file every time the duration of the previous one expires; the number of historical files to keep in the archive can be established by the user.
To specify the duration of the historical files of a group:
- Select the group to specify the duration of the history file.
- Select the Archive tab.
