The file XView.ini (registered in the address of the project) contains the activation parameters of the viewer (X View) and is filled in automatically by X Editor.


The XView.ini file contains the following sections:


[Startup]

Contains the activation parameters of the viewer.

[VKBD_FONT]

Contains the formatting parameters of the virtual keyboard font.

[StartUp] section


The [StartUp] section contains the following items:


HomePage =FileName [. P.]
The name of the start page of the system, with or without an extension.


Look =0 | 1
Enables or disables the XP look management of the interface.
If the value is 0, XP look management is disabled; if the value is 1, the XP look is applied.


SingleClickDataEntry = 0 | 1

Enables or disables the activation of the input mode with a single click. If the value is 0, the entry is activated by double-clicking; if the value is 1, the entry is activated with just one click. The default value is 0.


ShowSelectionBorder = 0 | 1

Enables or disables the transition from X View to other Windows applications using the Alt + Tab command. If the value is 0, switching to other applications is enabled; if the value is 1, the transition to other applications is inhibited. The default value is 0.


DisableTaskSwitch = 0 | 1
Enables or disables the transition from XView other Windows applications using the Alt + Tab command If the value is 0The application switching is enabled; if the value is 1The application switching is inhibited. The default value is 0.


Maximized = 0 | 1
Activate or deactivate the full screen view (without title bar) of XView. If the specified value is 0, X View is started as a normal window. If the specified value is 1 X View, it is activated as a maximized non-resizable window with no title bar. The default value is 0.


DisableClose=0 | 1
Activate or deactivate the inhibition of closing X View. If the specified value is 0, X View can be closed without any limitation. If the value specified is 1, all user closing commands are inhibited, with the exception of the closing actions requested by the buttons on the page, and closing requests from other applications are ignored (except for the Task Windows Manager). The default value is 0.


CloseByProgram=0 | 1
This item is managed by the X Vision system as support information for the management of closing requests, and must not be altered.


RedrawByPage=0 | 1
Turn the full page refresh mode on or off. If set to 0, the update is managed by object, if set to 1, the update is performed per page. The default value is 0. Provided for backward compatibility.

[vKBD_FONT] section


The [vKBD_FONT] section contains optional information for customizing the font of virtual keyboards. The section contains the following entries:


FontName = font name
Name of the font that will be used for virtual keyboards. If the name is incorrect, the first font found in the computer font collection will be used. If not specified, the default font will be used.


FontSize =integer
Size of the font that will be used for virtual keyboards. If not specified will use the default size.


FontBold = 0 | 1
Specifies whether the bold font is applied to the font used for virtual keyboards. The attribute is applied if the entry has value 1. The default value is 0.


FontItalic = 0 | 1
Specifies whether the italic font is applied to the font used for virtual keyboards. The attribute is applied if the entry has value 1. The default value is 0.


FontUnderline = 0 | 1
Specifies whether the underline font is applied to the font used for virtual keyboards. The attribute is applied if the entry has value 1. The default value is 0.
