Alarm acknowledgment
Through the recognition operation of the alarms, the operator tells the system to have viewed the alarm.
The system allows the acknowledgement of alarms through the Events List animation, or through the Basic Script functions.
Note: The acknowledged message remains in any case displayed in the alarm summary list (highlighted with the character Ö) until the Item returns to the Normal state and is reset (see par "Resetting the alarms")
Acknoweledging from X View
Alarm acknowledgment can be done in X View through the Events List animation in Alarm Summary mode or through appropriately configured animations (acknowledgment of specific events).
To acknowledge an alarm displayed in the Alarm list in Alarm Summary mode:
1. Double-click on the message to be acknowledged with the mouse
- or -
Select the alarm you want to recognize, then select the ACK command from the context menu to recognize it. Instead select the ACK All command to acknowledge all the alarms present.
Note Reset actions can also be performed via an animation or keyboard event for which the action "LstAll: Ack" (or "LstAll: Ack Tutti") has been configured and a valid reference is set to an animation list Events.
It is possible to associate the action of recognizing an alarm related to a specific item to an animation. For more information see the "Actions" appendix in this guide.
Acknoweledging from Basic Script
Alarm recognition can also be performed using scripts: X Vision has alarm management functions that can be used in Basic scripts.
For more information refer to the Basic Script Guide.
