The Cut, Copy and Paste commands allow to insert and remove items to the clipboard. The Clipboard is a temporary area where you can store items for subsequent reuse. 


Cut 
Delete the selected item after the selection after having created a copy to the clipboard. Keyboard Shortcuts: CTRL + X


Copy 

The command creates a copy of the selection to the clipboard.

Keyboard Shortcuts: CTRL + C


Paste 

insert the contents of the Clipboard into the document. 

Keyboard Shortcuts: CTRL + V


Note: For graphics, the X Editor manages a private clipboard, different from the Windows clipboard.


Note: Shortcuts do not work for the properties grid, please use comamnds from contextual menu.
