The development environment makes available context-sensitive menus that are activated by clicking on the item with the right mouse button and allow you to select commonly used operations for the selected item.


Some type of input fields support the use of double-click for entering or editing data.

The double click facilitates the placing allowing the selection of an element or allowing the modification. The effect of the double click depends on the type of field, as defined below:


Item or Expression fields

The effect of double-clicking depends on the contents of the field and from the point at which it is carried out:


    1. If carried out at an empty area of ​​the field, opens the window for the selection of existing items / local variables / replacements
    2. If done at the name of an existing item, open the properties window for the item
    3. If carried out in correspondence of a text corresponding to the name of any existing item, displays the window for the insertion of an item having the selected text as name.
    4. If you double click on a local variable, it displays the selection list of local variables.

Fields parameters (actions)

Double-clicking in a field parameter on action opens the selection window for the expected parameter type (e.g.: If the action requires as a parameter the name of an item, opens the window for selecting the item, if it waits a reference to a page, it opens the window for the selection of project pages, etc.). 

 

Selection fields

The selection window for the desired item is displayed. 

Lists and grids 

Double-clicking on an item in a list usually opened the window modification of its properties or activates the direct input where supported

Double-clicking in a grid of input (e.g., reporting groups, Multilingual, etc.) Activates the entry into the selected cell. 

 

Obiects of the synoptic

Double-clicking on an element of synoptic causes:


    1. the display properties window (if hidden), if the object is not references or expressions item
    2. the display of References Inspector form if the object references an item or expressions. 
    3. the execution of the script for customization if the object is a Intelligent Symbol
