Two or more objects can be grouped to form a single entity that can be animated, moved, scaled or rotated as a single object. A group can be composed of multiple groups.

A group can be separated, obtaining the constituent elements. The separation takes place by progressive levels: in the case where the group is in turn made up of several groups, the first application of the command separates exclusively the main group; the second separates the application sub-groups, etc ...

When a group is separated, the properties related to the group object are lost, because the entity ceases to exist. The properties of the individual constituent objects are instead preserved.
