The Linked page animation allow you to insert a page inside another screen. This feature can be particularly useful, for example, for the creation of pages of general synopsis or for the construction of panels or common headers. The objects contained in the linked pages retain all the animation properties.

Features of the linked page

The management of the linked pages has the following characteristics:


    1. The linked page can be maintained to its original size or automatically adapted to the size you want without modifying the source page.
    2. The objects contained in the linked page retain all the animation properties, actions and scripts included, and respond to user action, even if the linked page is resized.
    3. The page script of the linked page are not managed; prevails management scripts related to the synoptic page that contains it.
    4. The keyboard events defined for the linked page are not maintained: prevails the management of keyboard events related to the page that contains it.
    5. Translations (see chap. "Multilingual Support") are also handled within the linked page.
    6. Substitutions (See chap. "Substitutions") of the linked page are managed.
    7. The objects contained in the linked page are accessible through scripting and OLE Automation (DOM object model) of the main page. 
    8. The effect of the change page actions, even if invoked by elements contained in the linked page, it is not limited to the context of the linked page.
    9. You can not manage nesting.
      A Linked page cannot contains other linked pages. Nested linked pages will be highlighted with an error icon.
    10. Circular references are not allowed. A Linked Page animation cannot reference the page that contains it.
