Text animations have all the features of the Rectangle animation (including animation features), and in addition allow you to display a fixed text or the value of an expression and they can perform data entry.

Display the value of an expression

The representation of the value of an expression can be done by directly showing the value assumed by it, possibly formatted and completed with a prefix and / or a suffix, or by displaying, according to the value, a predefined text (for example: "Normal" when the value is included within certain operating range and "Abnormal" if the value exceeds these limits).

  

Entering values

The Text animation can be used to change the value of an item by enabling the data input. Obviously in this case it is necessary that the expression related to the text is constituted by a single item.

The data input can be controlled via standard input window or by using on-screen keyboard, that is especially useful if you are using a Touch Screen.
