Start by link at Windows boot
You can set up a connection (Link) on the desktop to activate the specified project without access to the Project Manager and without activation of XStart through the command line, or create a shortcut in the Startup folder to enable the start of the supervision system at activation of the PC.
To create a desktop shortcut:
- Activate the Project Manager in the list and select the desired project.
- Select the command Create Shortcut à Desktop from the menu Configure.
- The system creates a desktop shortcut for activating the selected project. A message indicates the successful outcome of the operation..
To set the automatic activation of the supervision project when the PC starts:
- Activate the Project Manager in the list and select the desired project.
- Select the command Create ShortcutàStartup.
- The system creates a shortcut in the Startup folder of Windows. This link will then be activated each time the operating system starts. A message indicates the successful outcome of the operation..
Note: To start Windows without activating applications in the Startup group, hold down the Shift key during startup.
Note: Applications configured in Startup are activated after login. For the automatic restart on unattended stations is suggested to disable the prompt to log the operating system. Refer to the documentation or on-line help of the Operating System for details about disabling the login window.
Note While you can create several desktop links for projects, you must configure only one project link in the sStartup group.
The links can be used to activate the supervision system and they activate viewing environment by default (allowing the use of the supervision solution developed). You can still activate the development environment at any time.
Note: For the creation of links to the activation of the system on the client stations, see chapter "Network Stations"
